HISTORY
Our historic building, now home to The Blackbird Inn and Ricochet Cafe, first opened its doors in 1900 as Clio’s General Store and served as the local post office and gas station. Just a stone’s throw from Graeagle, the Cafe offers a wide range of food and beverages for lunch and dinner, while the Inn provides comfy, clean and quiet lodging options for visitors year round. The Inn is inspired by the rich local history—each room represents a piece of the past.
The historic building was reopened in 2017 by Plumas County native, Cheryl Duniphin. Cheryl has years of hospitality experience after having ventured all over the country. Join us for a meal or stay for a few days—we’re eager to share our local knowledge and hospitality with you!
